Welcome to Assistive Technology Products
This site is provided as a source of information for those working to improve accessibility to information and services for those with sensory or mobility impairment.
Contributors to this site are not legislators or enforcers. They are designers, engineers, developers and academics. Most importantly, we hope to receive feedback and suggestions from those with personal experience of the challenges faced by users of public access information systems (kiosks, ATMs, ticketing machines, vending machines etc.).
The owners of this web site have a specific commercial interest in the manufacture of devices that provide a non-visual, non-text based interface to IT systems. With that said, it is hoped to include contributions from a wide range of interested parties, including institutions, associations and federations working in support of those living with sensory, cognitive or mobility impairment.
We will endeavor to ensure that information included or referred to in this site is accurate and complete. However we cannot in any way warrant or guarantee that the information provided is accurate, current or complete. Please confirm the accuracy of any information with the original source or the appropriate mandating or legislative authorities. Please be aware that laws, mandates, requirements and ‘best practice’ vary between territories, applications and industry sectors.
Any views or opinions expressed in this web site are those of individual authors and do not necessarily represent the views and opinions of the web site owners.
